Helping Patients Cope through Free Beauty and Grooming Services

Diana Irene Dibble received her bachelor's in urban planning and development from the University of Southern California. She was affiliated with DHI Mortgage between 2009 to 2013 before moving to Home Community Mortgage where she currently serves as a branch manager. Outside of her work, Diana Irene Dibble volunteers for the Beauty Bus Foundation.

The Beauty Bus Foundation was founded by two relatives, Alicia Marantz Liotta and Wendy Marantz Levine, in honor of their cousin and sister Melissa Marantz Nealy, who passed away due to a degenerative neuromuscular disease. The foundation aims to help terminally ill people recover their dignity and hope through beauty and grooming services.

One of the projects the foundation has started has been pop-up salons. By partnering with various organizations including other nonprofits, social service agencies, and hospitals, the Beauty Foundation has been able to provide pop-up salons where patients and their caregivers could come and receive complimentary beauty services. This project has been met with positive feedback from many of the salons' clients.

The Beauty Bus Foundation is open to working with anyone interested in creating a pop-up salon. For more information, visit the group's website at BeautyBus.org.
